The Gridiron Club welcomes you to the 2016 Franklin Saber Football Season. The primary focus of the Gridiron Club is to promote the football program and to subsidize, at the club’s discretion, various aspects of the football program. This is done by the soliciting of donations and organizing various fundraising events. Some of the main fundraising events are the Gold Card Drive and the Annual Football Alumni Golf Outing , with proceeds benefiting the Franklin Gridiron Club and the Saber Stadium Project. Other areas that raise money for the football program are Gridiron clothing sales and youth football concessions.
We welcome and encourage all parents to participate within the organization. There are many ways to become involved and can be as simple as bringing a dessert to a pasta night or selling clothing at a home football game. We have been lucky in the past to have a strong parent group and it is only with your help that we can continue the growth.
Our meetings are usually the 1st Monday night of the month at 7:00pm in the Franklin High School Library. We encourage all who can, to please attend.
Starting in July: Gridiron Meetings will be held on the 1st Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) from 7-8pm in the FHS library to better allow Freshmen parents to attend as their sons football games are on Monday nights.
